Our Limited Release Sauvignon Blanc was made from a selection of our most expressive fruit from the 2023 vintage. The wine was made almost entirely from fruit from the warmer Wairau Valley sub-region in Marlborough with a smaller percentage coming from the cooler and drier Awatere Valley. The wine we’ve made shows impeccable fruit expression, concentration and balance.
Grapes were crushed and destemmed prior to pressing and fermentation was induced by the introduction of carefully selected yeast strains. We fermented in stainless steel at cool temperatures to preserve the lifted aromatics in this wine.
